Margie Urness was named Lakeland Conference Coach of the Year for 2012 in girls tennis at last Friday's conference tournament at Leeper Park in South Bend.

The Coloma Varsity Baseball team won the Saranac Wood Bat Invitational
by defeating New Lothrop 2-1 and Saranac 6-3. Ty H. pitched 6
strong innings in game one giving up only 2 hits and 1 walk. Tyler
H. came on to pitch the seventh and get the save. In the
championship vs. Saranac, Caleb S. got the win and Andrew S.
got the save. Matt G. was a force at the plate all day, going 5
for 8 and driving in 5 runs, including 4 in the championship game.
Congratulations fellas!

2012 Varsity Baseball Schedule

The varsity golf team beat the Lakeshore Lancers in a close (184 to 185) dual match Friday night at Lake Michigan Hills.
The Comets are 4-1 in nonconference play.
We are 15-3 in the Lakeland Conference and stand in 2nd place.

7th Annual Penoyar Golf Fundraiser

The Girls Varsity Track Team has had a fantasitic start for the season. The girls are 10 and 0 in dual meets. The team placed first at the Bangor Invitational, third at the Bangor Relays, and the Freshman/Sophmores won the 9th/10 grade meet at Hartford. The team has had many great individual performances, as well as great team performances!!!!

The Boys Varsity Track Team is also having a good season. The boys are 4-6 in dual meets and they finished 4th at the Bangor Invitational on Friday Night!!!!

The varsity softball team won their second tournament of the season this past weekend. The Team won the Colt Invitational and Portland Invitational over the last two weekends!
Currently we are 8-1-1.

For all incoming 7th through 12th grade students in 2012-13 school year.

  • Physical form MUST be filled out by a parent or guardian BEFORE arrival for physical examination – without these completed prior, student-athletes will be denied a physical examination.
  • Form can be picked up in the Coloma Athletic Office or downloaded from the Coloma Community Schools website at http://ccs.coloma.org
