COLOMA COMMUNITY SCHOOLS
KINDERGARTEN/PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION FOR THE 2010-2011 SCHOOL YEAR

Kindergarten

Kindergarten students must be 5 years of age on or before December 1st. 
A Readiness test will be given to each kindergarten student in addition to vision, hearing and speech screenings.

• The child
• The child’s county birth certificate
• The child’s immunization record (both required by the State of Michigan)
• Two proofs of residency (driver’s license, rent receipt, bank statement or bills that contain your address)
• Any court documents stating legal custody has been given to the individual living in the Coloma school district.

Preschool

Preschoolers must be a resident of Coloma Schools.  Students must be 4 years of age on or before December 1st.  Please bring proof of income (check stub or last year’s tax return), birth certificate, immunization record, driver’s license. You do not need to bring the child to the preschool round-up.

Schools of Choice

If you reside outside the Coloma school district but wish to have your kindergartner attend Coloma Schools, applications for Schools of Choice will be available at Round Up.  Little Learners Preschool is unable to participate in the Schools of Choice Program.
